This game is so anime its sickening. I had no intention on buying it or watching many trailers until i played the demo. Dont ask why idk why i played it but gotdamn this is the first game in a loooong time that ive preordered. Also just preordered baldurs gates cause i trust larian. Never knew why i got DIVINITY 2 but when i played it loved the depth and creativity so it was an instant buy. Fromsoft also one i might do with armored core 6. I trustt them. I havent played FF since number 12. I barely played 13 and 15 (i just barely left the gas station and im sure i sold 13 back to gamestop way back when on xbox 360.) But yea this game is a winner i hope

This is the trailer that finally got me excited for the next game in the main series. Save the world by defying fate? Oh, yes! “Fate will fall.”🙃

I honestly really want to like this. Its a non-MMO Final Fantasy, which is exactly what made me a gamer. But I don’t like this. Its like Devil May Cry decided to steal a plot from Final Fantasy Mystic Quest, and instead the two sat down to watch Pacific Rim and toss ideas around. It doesn’t look like a Final Fantasy game, it doesn’t feel like a Final Fantasy game. It doesn’t seem to have the heart of a Final Fantasy game. It looks like a modern Capcom brawler, with one character who magically solves everyone’s problems (with the added joy of whether they want those problems solved or not) and mega-mans abilities off bosses he beats.

I really, really want to like this. I can’t. I can only hope I am wrong about it.

El doblaje está muy bien, pero la traducción al latino deja mucho que desear. Por ejemplo, para referirse a la realeza utilizan “usted es” en lugar de “vos sois”, que sería lo correcto. “Usted” es totalmente anacrónico en ese contexto.
Es una pena, pero estos fallos tan grandes de traducción harán que me decante por las voces en inglés o japonés y los subtítulos en español de España.
Las voces son geniales, pero el guion con el que han tenido que grabar es horrible. Deberían haber usado la traducción castellana, aunque el doblaje fuese en latino y no ibérico. Se nota que los traductores de España han hecho un trabajo mucho mejor.

I’m still unsure about this game. I mean, I’m totally gonna get it when it drops, but I’m hesitant. I’m not sure if I’m really sold on the tone of the game. Yeah, it’s got Yoshi-P, but I’m not someone to immediately heap praise on a game, just because it’s being worked on by someone who’s other work I adore.
If I like it, I like it. If I don’t, I don’t. But Final Fantasy has yet to steer me wrong thus far.

I could feel the suffer of the people and also The Dominants and Clive is the Warrior of Light that have to liberate them from the suffer and despair but he has to sacrifice something important to him. That’s why The Main Theme is so emotional this time.

Am I just getting too old for this? I really want to love it but storywise it just seems underwhelming and uninteresting to me
