FF12 had the best combat.
the gambit system could have really improved both FF7 remake games IMO. Getting a nice combo of action and strategy mixed with the materia would have been golden to build really good team set ups without having to micromanage every action your team takes
I didn’t know Amish people were allowed to be online.
FF definitely needs to go the expedition 33 route
FFXII has been one of my favorite Final Fantasies. The story, music, characters and setting. Myself I just adore Ivalice. I understand the “how and why” on why it is that some don’t care for the combat style. For me it was a breath of fresh air though-something different. I’m playing through the Zodiac Age for the first time, finally. After having played the original many times. I’ve found that I actually prefer this version with character classes. The original, in retrospect, does get too “full and heavy” with everyone basically knowing every ability and magic. Takes away any individuality in the gameplay. I was impressed with FF16. I actually enjoyed the lone wolf sort of nature of it. I’ve been playing FF since 1988 as a child and Clive became one of my favorite game characters of all time. For me his character was so well written and executed. And when you’re fighting and have the combat system down to a T..with Clive being the one man army that he is..and that heroic and just epic battle theme of his playing…it’s bad a**..lol
Ugh the gambit system my dear beloved
It was like creating your own AI, loved it
