Diablo 4 | PTR Season 9 [Hydra Pit 120 Clear] Finally done with the Hydra Build for Season 9
After a few days of progressing, testing with gears, runes and aspects, quite satisfied with this hydra build. This build is not ideal for lower tiers. Running Pit 100 and Pit 80 is almost the same speed, hence I suggest doing hordes till level 260.
This is a burning Hydra build, do take note that burning damages from hydra takes its damage from hydra’s base damage. hence things like critical damages or overpower has little or no effect on burn builds. Hence on your paragon board, do avoid things like critical chance, critical damages, over power damages.
Fire damage includes both direct and burning damages.
Things that increases hydra’s base damage are
1. Core skills
2. Increase Damage
3. Elemental Damage
4. Increase Summon’s Damage
5. Intelligence
Stacking Attack speed does increase your hydra’s attack speed.
Resource cost reduction has no effect on serpertine aspect, as it ‘consumes’ mana, rather than ‘spend’ mana. However it stills benefit from ring of the starless skies, just not the resource cost reduction part of it.
I don’t use Hail of Verglais for this build, if you use it, we can easily double our current damage. We shall see what’s in the final patch notes.
