Saw an ad for this game and only came for this video because of Halsey’s song “Nightmare”.
I cannot complain about music or anything. It’s Diablo (not a mobile version) and that is enough for me. I pre-ordered the Lilith statue. Let it begin. To be fair a similar kind of music was used in Alan Wake ending of chapter 2.

It’s very hard to agree that this song matches the movie…
I know a Holy/shield base class is almost inevitable for the first expansion class. But if they make a second, I feel a whole new class due at this point. I think a Corsair Pirate or Buccaneer would be a good class, combination of melee and long ranged attacks. Could even inspire some voodoo witch doctor curses as the term Buccaneers relate specifically to the pirates of the Carribean pirates/ swashbucklers. Fast attack speed using either one handed swords for melee with one handed flintlock pistols and blunderbuss to combine sword attacks with quick firearm attacks. Or two hand muskets/rifles for long range offensive, including ultimate moves could set of a row of cannon fire, lethal Grappling hooks hang and squeeze enemies until there heads burst. A ghostly version of the Krakens tentacles cover a circular puddle radius and deals relentless damage whilst also trapping. I could go on.

For a better viewing experience play the song For Whom The Bell Tolls from Metallica it fits 100% better and should have been the song they used.

i wish there would be a way to actually side with lilith in game. i played through the whole first chapter of the story during beta and inarius is such a douchebag (to be fair, most of the “angels” in the diablo series are). lilith is a much better, fleshed out, very charming character.

the song had some beginning elements that were great, but the second you brought in halsey’s voice it killed the vibe. wrong voice for the element. youd need to go for something older, medieval classical with a smattering of various genre’s, id have to listen to a bunch of stuff in the dark sphere to get an idea, but tbh you dont want to go too dark, just in my opinion, because then that will infect the minds of the players a bit too much, and as i dont really care for the $ bottom line, I do care to some degree about morals. Which of course seems ludicrous, im playing a demonic game, there are going to be bad influences on my mind whether i steel myself or not, and cant really steel my mind when playing a game and looking for loot. /shrug i digress. also halsey has a good voice, but her video’s disgust me, alongside her lyrics. she is ruled by chaos and suffering, and not rising above it. always sad when someone with talent corrupts. save your breath in critiquing me about her in regards to imperfection and the struggle of life, when you have a platform to speak to a multitude of people, you have a responsibility for how they perceive what you are exampling. I am firm on this.

Can someone actually like both pop /metal/any music at the same time? Many men – many minds, but it’s funny how some Diablo fans try to force their musical tastes on everyone else. I don’t need Ozzy Osbourne biting the head off a bat just because it’s a Diablo 4 trailer xD I’m into Halsey, and it’s true that her music wouldn’t fit in-game, obviously, but for a cinematic trailer recap, I think it’s just right.

So I get everyone has their opinion and I know a lot of people are upset with the music choice with the trailers for diablo 4, but I’ve been apart of this franchise since diablo 1 and it’s by far my favourite game of all time and personally love the music choice in these trailers. Especially this story launch trailer. Yes it’s out of the typical theme of the game, but I feel like it fits the cinematics perfectly. It honestly gave me chills. The last time I had that was with the WOTLK opening cinematic trailer which I think was the best WoW cinematic. I really hope you guys really do a good job with this game cause this trailer got me more pumped for this game than anything so far.

Ну типа как это было бы на мой взгляд лучше, если бы мрачный хрипящий голос медленно тянул бы на протяжении ролика про тьму санктуария, а потом какой нибудь мрачный хор под звуки какого нибудь оргАна сопровождал битву против демонов… но имеем, что имеем…
p.s. Сейчас посмотрел в скорости 0,5 и оно оказалось немного, но лучше чем в нормальной скорости. Но трэк всё равно мимо!

$60BILLION+ company and they put out these trailers in 1080p that look like they came from an indie developer I am stoked for the game but am getting a bit worried with how lackluster the trailers have been. This will be the biggest, most anticipated game launch of the year – even bigger than Hogwarts legacy. The hype train is going crazy. Diablo 4 searches are sky high. This is just not great. The gameplay trailer was worse.

Inarius’ voice at 0:54 sounds totally different compared to his voice in-game and in previous trailers. He has more of a British accent here compared to an American accent in-game. His voice here also has less of a processed and artificial sound (doesn’t sound like the pitch shift making his voice deeper is as over-the-top) in this trailer, with more of the actor’s natural voice coming through in the performance. Sounds way better like this imo. He actually sounds much cooler and not just like another generic deep-voice via pitch shift character, like the bloody wolf.

I feel this is what D3 missed, a true focus on story and characters. While it was decently well executed, it never really shone. I pray D4’s story arc is as good as the trailers make it out to be, but personally I find the background music choice questionable to say the least. Somewhat works, but not truly. Look at something like Lustre – Thirst for some epic music backgrounds. @diablo

I’m excited about the * game *, but these trailers using tone-deaf pop music as background are quite unappealing to fans, like me, of the dark horror tone that the franchise is all about. A Diablo game is not a commercial blockbuster movie… it’s a game about slaying demons and the undead. Why make it sound like the former? Especially considering the already very rich musical legacy of the first games. What happened to gloomy classical guitar? Here. Have my thumbs down Blizzard.

what I missed in the beta was this feature from diablo 3 where you could cycle through your latest loot via the dpad to check if the items are good, without having to open the character menu every single time. I liked this trailer much more than the gameplay one. With that being said I can’t forgive Blizzard for those 4 days of early access, it’s just awful you’re paying full price but that’s not enough and you have to pay more to play it on Friday. I will buy the standard edition and enjoy the game but I really hope everything that can go wrong actually goes wrong for those 4 days.

We want to be able to experience new content with our main characters we put time & effort in even if it means to opt out of leaderboards. I only want to see the story. The game was way to boring, just like Diablo 3. Nothing like Diablo 2. Diablo 4 as Diablo 3 are not worth calling Diablo-games.
