Looks just like diablo 3. I am not getting my hopes up. They took the role playing out of the ARPG and mad it just action. All the itemization and skill mechanics that made diablo 1 and 2 so fun to play is gutted and replaced with green and red arrows for damage and defense.

I will be buying Ultimate Edition and I do not care if people are telling me not to buy it since I want to get ahead of the seasonal because it is gonna be a grind.

I just dont see the point in prebuying the game. All the base rewards are for other games, only the highest tier has in game content and not much. You are being pressured into buying the battle pass with no idea of whats in it and a few of the videos that i watched were not sure if would be released at the same time. I mean im being charged more than a normal game just for the base version. Im glad the druid is coming back. The moment I realized it would never be released in 3 i logged out. But I don’t feel like the preorder is giving me my money’s worth at the moment. I may wait until its discounted until i get it if i wont be getting anything special out of it unless i want to gamble on my long term satisfaction and trust in the first season pass by paying more than im comfortable with.

Lilith doesn’t feel nearly as badass as she did from the CG trailer. Both from a setup deity standpoint and the voice as well. She was HUGE… but her voice sounds like a normal woman. Meh.

In trailers you only see ruins, but I would also like caves like in D2 that were in mountains etc. I think it’s good that Diablo 4 is based on Diablo 2 and isn’t too colorful like Diablo 3 was, which was based on Wacraft.

Nephilim(us) were essentially nerfed over time thanks to Inarius and his control of sanctuary. Lillith has always wanted us at full power though(“The hero you were”), clearly still wants to use us as her personal army. Going to be interesting to see where this goes.

I can’t wait to see what awaits us in Act 1 of the story in early access! Normally I find the story in Diablo games interesting but is something I care more about outside the game than while playing, but this one has me really excited to experience. I’m hoping we’ll eventually be on the same side as Lilith since it’d be an interesting twist on Diablo to work with a demon, but judging from the dialogue, Act 1 will likely be fighting against her forces.

I preordered every Diablo game that came out since D2 but this is actually the first time I’m going to wait and it kinda makes me a little bit sad. Back in the day I considered Blizzard a company that not only doesn’t make bad games but it makes only hits that are playable and enjoyable for years. But D4 being a live service game filled with stuff you can buy with real money.. I don’t know man, I’m not feeling it. I do however wish them luck and still hope to play it at some point if it turns out to be even half as good as previous Diablo games

I dont get how Warcraft got utterly wrecked in terms of art direction (google Dracthyr…) but Diablo is somehow better than ever on that front.

Thanks Blizzard, i’ll skip your games. There are hundreds of games released each year. It’s not the market it used to be when Blizzard was in its prime and there wasn’t as much competition.
Blizzard obviously won’t care, Immortal is printing cash but each gamer has to decide which company and which practices they want to support.

People need to realize that Diablo 4 is being co-developed alongside an Indian game dev that is famous for the Crash Bandicoot games. That’s why we’re seeing platforming in Diablo all of a sudden. Be wary.

Dear diablo team.. given that I’m not a hater but a big diablo fan. the graphics are nothing special.. we are in 2023 and I would have expected something more. I just hope the game is engaging but mostly co-op with some good world boss fights. I hope so with all my heart.
