problem with D4 is the same like always : progression curve sucks. the curve is skyrocketing the first 15-20 hours at max level, then you have all gearpieces your build needs with atleast 1GA and after that it flattens out and you need like hundred hours per upgrade and these upgrades are just 1-2 GAs more on one item. we need another tier of items that is significant better (like doubling all stats) that appears with a very small chance.

I’m def gonna check season 7. These games are meant to be played on and off, they’re designed that way. That’s the point of seasons. PoE 2 is designed this same way, it’s very new and shiny right now.

After forcing myself to play POE2, I miss D4 and POE1 so much.. Can’t wait for the new seasons of both games.

Resplendent Spark!!?? Are you sure? The last season I played Diablo 4, I was not able to get a second spark no matter what I did or who I killed. Never got fixed for me. Obviously, I can still get them by breaking down mythics it just slowed me down a bunch. So you’re telling me there’s a chance….

I played Diablo 4 Season 2, reached level 100 with a whirlwind warrior, killing Lilith on the hardest difficulty. After that, I wanted to play another class, but they never added a class like a warrior, and I don’t want to play anymore until a knight gets added. Literally, in 2 years, they only added 1 class, which is a copy of the druid. Disappointment.

Still looking like the same old stuff with new skins, where has creativity gone?

It’ll be nice to play a melee character that can tank. I’m tired of my Warrior in POE 2 struggling to stay alive in maps. Gonna hop back on D4 to lower my blood pressure lol.

I never looked into any blizzard game since they decided to fuck up WoW many years ago. Even though I played all of the older Diablo games.
After the release of PoE 2 I saw many YouTube videos talking about D4 in comparison to PoE. And I refuse to believe that D4 (after the history of the franchise) morphed into a family friendly game for intellectual challenged teenager. After looking at some comments here I might be wrong, but we will see.

I played Season 6 with the Spiritborn (like everyone else), so I didn’t get to really experience the pet changes. I’m really hoping that a Druid pet build will be good for Season 7.

P4, to the BEST of your knowledge have ALL the characters be brought up to the level of SB? Not interested to play a game where you’re forced to play ONLY ONE class for 42 quadrillion damage and ALL other classes are only sideshow characters. Thanks in advance.

Good video. I will still wait to see what druid buffs happen. I remember when druid had like 20 different builds. Now it’s usually only werewolf stuff. Give me a good druid season and i will probably play nonstop.

I like to play many games, watch sports, Streaming shows, YouTube, etc. If one game tries to take all my time for 3 months I just don’t play it at all as I like variety. I’ve done 250 hours of Poe2 and I’m pretty much done. I’m moving on to other things.

So the idea of a 2-4 week season is perfect. Have fun, move on. Longer than that for any game is boring.

Hmm I doubt I’d play more than a week, maybe two. It’s not the lack of seasonal features, it’s more the amount same gameplay and endgame. After playing since launch with 2000+ hours, it’s always the same old loop. level up same characters and abilities, level glyphs, do seasonal stuff which isn’t long, etc. I no longer look forward to seasons. Even the DLC was lackluster in some ways, maybe I was expecting too much. It’s definitely no Lords of a destruction DLC.

I’ve heard from somewhere that D4 has reached it’s final form, but I’m playing PoE2 still. Hard to imagine going back to the kiddie pool now that the olympic pool is open.

I am expecting the nerf stick, my DoK rogue has like 1100% critical chance damage and 50% critical chance… talk about mowing the lawn O.o

The only question I have is, did they nerf the Spiritborn into oblivion? Because I have no interest in playing if one class is 100 times better than everthing else. Last season was joke and i quit very early due to the spiritborn.

I just gave ’em hell via this popup question thingy… pointed out that in TIII all I have gotten is shite 750’s or the occasional rotten 1 star 800 that I wouldn’t wipe me cats backside with… 73 back to back world bosses and nyetski nothing grr grr I did 30 goes T3 Varshan and got 1 ancestral that was wholly useless to my DoK rogue… abs pants 🙁 Blizzard need to get rid of this tapering loot system they have had since Wrath of the Lich King which is the main body of loot drops early on and then it tapers towards end of expansion so in the last days you have very little chance of something decent then reset and lots of feel good drops in the opening days of next episode then tapers off again.

I don’t get what is so great about this. This is literally just any of the other seasons with temporary power, just recoloured effects.

As long as they refuse to add permanent systems that can be combined or stacked over time, all these seasons are just fotm slop.

I think i am seeing damage in milions ! that is really rediculous , all game who let the scaling aspect goes this far are not creative , you shouldn’t be million times stronger and that makes you only on bar with the latest enemies and all others are just one shots and not joy to play agaist.

I like both poe2 and d4. Atm im bored with poe2 so its perfect moment for d4 s7. And i think the most of arpg fans feels the same.

I am playing it, I play every season. Now i want to get Twisting Blade poison rogue, i had it in season 1 and it was super fun.

I am blasting D4 non stop in Season 7. POE 2 ain’t for me to be honest then I will be playing AC Shadows in March.

Ive been clocking up to 300 hours into my POE 2 shenanigans and I’m ready for chill demon blasting session with D4.

The armory is gonna be amazing. Having an AOE build for helltide/ infernal horde and having a single target build for uber bosses one click away is a HUGE qol update.

I genuinely think with the introduction of the armoury, Eternal realm may see a boost in players. All that hard work you put in, in a season, all can be saved. Focus on new builds all while not starting over from scratch in a new season.

Also, a side note, i think the 1-60 should just be skipped in the season. It adds zero value apart from time gating people from getting to the stuff they want. They already have the “boost” software available. It could just be introduced into the start of a season.

any idea on how does the inventory works with the armory ? Will my currently equiped stuff from build 1 be stored in the armory or will I have to equip / unequip and store it in my stash ?

Took a long break from D4 since October and just recently came back to finish what I had left of my season journey.
Now that I finished with that, I’m excited to play season 7!

Once FF7 drops on 23 Jan, I’m forgeting about Diablo. Then MHW drops on 28th Feb. These 2 games will cure me from Diablo for about a year.

looking forward to season 7 and after dumping a ton of time into PoE2 I came to realize that D4 just is more fun for me and my time. PoE2 was fun but I actually felt like I hit end game and cleared t15 maps faster than hitting end game in D4. Not to mention PoE2 has broken builds just like D4 that makes all content just a snoozefest like spiritborn err I mean monk err I mean deadeye. 😉 That being said if I get bored of D4 I’ll bounce back over to PoE2 and may revisit Last Epoch also! Competition is good.

played D4 a lot when it launched roughly around 500 hours mark… after playing POE for also 300 hours plus… when I go back to D4 I feel like I over hating the game… the game has so many flaw but yeah D4 is just meant to be more simplistic game… but now it has more content than ever before… I think it’s good but again Im waiting for the paladin tho and also waiting for templar in poe 2

Tired of PoE 2, looking forward to the new season in D4!

Today bought D4 + vessel of hatred. Gonna take my time slowly 100% campaign. D4 better for me as I’m super casual. Not gonna use more than 10 hours per week for gaming.

I’ll play for 2 weeks but only going to do one toon this season instead of the standard 5, then back to poe2, but have to find some time for KCD2 which is going awesome. So little time!

PoE2 is getting stale after about 100hrs, so time to come back

As a diablo Fan since the early days… and playing 1200h i must say that poe2 build up a huge gab betören the two games. I will play s7 but not from the beginning…
