D4 bad………again

Me: Can’t wait until they finally listened to our feedback and finally implemented some challenging content and difficult obstacles to overcome

I finished the last season including gr 150 in 3 days it should take much longer imo.

Let’s be honest… D4 is a pile of crap.
At this point I’m more exited about new D3 season tbh. Not to mention that PoE2 is godlike aRPG so…. yeah… 89yo dads with 134 kids can keep D4 for themselfs;P

Im casual player ( I do have over 1000 hrs in D4) but I do not want to invest all of my free time into a game, like POE2. Its great but its for highscool boys who dont have any life obligations, work, earning money etc. This is where D4 is better for me. Still I do support the fact that D4 needs to add more content but keep it simple.
Main thing for me, and difference btw D4 and POE2 is combat, where I find D4 combat itself way better than POE2. And i believe thats number one importnat factor, and after that everything else…

“Some of the stuff finally works” is a terrible thing to say about a game this old. I s ok but like D4 personally, but I wish this game would be what it’s supposed to be. PoE2 being for the hardcore crowd and D4 being casual I get. But I just don’t find D4 fun. It’s missing something.

Eh. D4 is fine. Just looks like 80% is another copy paste season. 20% has some cool powers but not enough to intrigue me.

300 hours in PoE2. Great EA game. But I come for S7 to RELAX casually. Also… zoom zoom zoom!

Can’t wait to play D4 again. After playing 500+ hours of POE2 I can honestly say that a change of pace will be nice and to be frank the in-game combat in D4 feels a lot better.

I love Diablo, i really enjoy playing it with my friends, i would even say its better than poe when it comes to multiplayer Interactions.
With that said, my hopes for diablo actually being a great game with diverse endgame content, has met its end.
The current ppl behind the game as of now, cant think out of the box, and will end up making yet another D3 game, with better quality.

still no end game on D4, also duping is still a thing in season 6 but blizzard hasnt been able to patch it at all. it took ggg literally a day to put a stop to temporalis duping glitch, been 3 months blizzard hasnt done shit

I wish content creators be honest with themselves and either drop d4 content entirely or stop playin to poe crowd while making money on blizzard promo. Games are incomparable, and have a fraction of the player base in common. A lot of people are excited for S7 and a lot of people are exicted for POE2 post-patch, and both are fine. There is no need for “i had to make this video” content for either.

Much faster? Geez wasnt it fast enough? At this point just start off a level 100. Poe2 is just too fun with all the different builds, I’d be bored going back to D4 with the same basic bs builds when everyone uses the same one

Been working on a shadow step(SS) build based on the ‘damage with first hit out of stealth’ and SS cleave tempers – does great single target and AE damage, and with the synergy, uncanny treachery, ravager, escape artist, surprise, opportunist, and poisonous clouds aspects, it does great AE damage and I’m invis/auto-dodging so much that it’s been crazy safe too. The patch notes look like it’s going to get a good boost to SS target and cleave damage too. Been trying to make a true assassin build for a while, but the SS skill has been too finicky and tough to get the required uniques – this is the first one that feels really good.

See if it is good if not poe2, good to have choice 😊

Gosh Wudijo sounds so uninterested in this content it is like he feels obligated to make the video, but could care less about it. I understand that POE2 is the “new hotness” but honestly if this is the level of excitement you have for D4 just stop making videos for it. I always enjoyed the in-depth analysis done by Wudijo, but it seems like now he really can’t be bothered with it. Not sure if others got the same impression after watching this video. It is also not just Wudijo, it is most of the content creators for D4 just aren’t interested anymore and will “play for a few days or week” is about their commitment level.

I would like the training ground to have a make-over. Like a timer with a damage meter. Go full chaos on the dummies for 1min of whatever you want as time, and you see your damage. Change an aspect, Paragon, gear of w.e. and then go again for a min, so we can see what works best. Now i see 100 numbers flying around but dunno what they mean in damage output

so they made d3 again where leveling doesnt matter only paragon points, speeding the game up as well i dont get it wring direction for tbe game imo

it feels like d4 is still in early access / beta, wish they would get some of the d3 team responsible for some of the later d3 seasons to innovate in d4. also i kind of wish season themes would stick around and just give more options of things to do instead of 1 season and gone. kind of poe2 style of choose what you want to interact with, breaches / expedition / ritual etc…

I’m excited to get back into d4. Loving PoE2 but it will be a nice change of pace.

I played POE 2 and it was decent but for me on console, however, I didn’t feel Path had better graphics, the nonsensical deaths that happened while I was playing maps would usually be out of the blue. I’m sure on PC it’s superior but lowkey I think I’m going back to D4. If D4 makes more characters and improves quality of life I can see them making a real come back, less than a season later no less.

Definitely looking forward to some fun. The QoL features are promising—I mean, PoE2 isn’t PoE1. You can respec, loot feels plentiful, and some bosses push you hard to min-max your build. Honestly, an armory system would make 100% sense here because respeccing takes forever. Clearing the skill tree manually, node by node, without a “reset all” button? Painful.

I’d love to experiment with tons of builds in PoE2, but let’s be real—there’s always going to be 2-3 meta builds that dominate, and they’ll end up sharing like 80% of the same passive tree with just minor tweaks. It’s almost worse than D4’s paragon boards and skill tree, where at least every legendary aspect or unique can shake things up and add depth. In PoE2, 99% of unique items feel dead on arrival, and the “meta” is already looking stagnant.

Once you settle on a build, you’re stuck. And no, the grind isn’t longer in PoE2—after 12-20 hours next league, even casuals will be hitting endgame. Just like D4, we’ll pump 80 hours, hit a progression wall, just in PoE we will then trade for 100 hours while chasing meta upgrades. Crafting won’t solve progression, and pinnacle bosses will barely move the needle. At that point, it’s rinse and repeat.

But here’s the thing—I’ll still play both games and enjoy them for 100-200 hours per season before bouncing to something else. Both D4 and PoE2 have massive flaws; the difference is D4 players and D4 haters seem hyper-aware of them, while the PoE2 community feels like it’s mentally shackled, acting like the game is above criticism. Grinding Gear Games has 500 devs and the backing of Tencent—this isn’t some indie darling anymore. Let’s be honest about its shortcomings.

It’s rough, but I’ll be there for both games regardless.

Progression speed was fine. The problem is dull content in a forever loop. That, and triggered children who report people for no reason.

Wow I forgot that D4 was even a thing anymore. Best of luck to you all. All my time and money go to GG games after the POE2 release, Played Diablo franchise for over 2 decades but never again, it is POE2 or forget it!

Please make Glyphs realm bound. It’s the last stupid unnecessary grind remaining in the game. After realm bound Witch Powers, Class quest „removal“ and much other QoL improvements.

One thing I would love them to implement from D3 into D4 is the Rebirth system for seasonal characters. I am starting to miss the place to create new ones, and I hate to delete characters, as I feel like I just throw my effort into the trash. The rebirth in D3 at the start of a season was good and helped with that as you just have to rebirth a character and did not lose all the effort you put in as all his gear was sent back to the eternal realm by mail.

It’s hilarious that I could care less to play d4 for 1 minute since poe2 came out. It just shows you how bad of a game d4 actually was and is. I guarantee Wudi plays for 6 days or less and comes back to poe2

After playing POE2, I honestly don’t know why I even want to play Diablo..GGG have done more in a Beta while having 300k average daily players, while Diablo took how many seasons to do nothing?

I went back to wow, and going to play d3 when new season is out. I like d3 alot more than d4. And poe is just to complicated to get into for me.

Effect: Converts All Damage Done By All Sources (You, Minions, and Companions) To (Element Name) Damage.

And make one for every single element.. Physical, Poison, Electric, Cold, Fire, Thorns, Shadow, Bone, ect.

I like to play many games, and do other things for entertainment too. So once I’ve done 100 hours, maybe 250 hours at best, I’m burnt out and need to move on to something new. So a 2-4 week playtime is perfect for me I don’t play any one game more. Ever.

As a SUPER casual player, I have not ever had a shako or andariel…and I play solo, so endgame is almost never a thing for me.

One thing i don’t get in D4 seasons is why do they take away things? Why not just add them to increase endgame activities? I would love to have vampire powers from s2 and those corrupt jewels from s1. Why not add on top of all the seasons?

Same old shit unfortunately, solely and exclusively focusing on the hyper casuals who barely play the game, not giving even a tiny piece of content for the more dedicated players, which there is clearly a large subset of players in the ARPG genre, as proven by PoE’s popularity over the years and now PoE2’s popularity. It’s mind boggling Blizzard don’t simply add just ONE pinnacle boss each season, much like OG Uber Lilith (excluding the bugs and broken hitboxes of course), to give something for the dedicated players to overcome and challenge themselves, once they’ve geared their character up. Blizzard can still focus on the casuals with content like they have been, just like all this seasonal content for S7, but why not spend even just 10% focus on dedicated players and challenging pinnacle content. Sigh…

I rather play D4 over grim dawn, last epoch and torchlight, we need better quality arpgs, Poe2 has no competition and that’s the issue.

I wished poe 2 had D4 quality in terms of grapphics and combat smoothness (god, some elits die and my fps drops to 10, what are those red veins coming from sky?). And wished D4 had PoE 2 support gems, (If we could have scattershot, pierce and fork support on fireballs?, wow!). Im sad Poe has better base to grow up on; unfortunately diablo 4 is a rose trying to florish in desert. It will die for sure, until its transferred where it stands on.
