I really hate the arcade machine camera and gameplay. No wonder first-person shooters blow these games out of the water! If you’re gonna do a 3rd person view, take some pointers from gears of war or Elder scrolls Then at least you’ll still be immersed into the game and not feel like you’re in a cheap phone game or arcade machine from the 80s. You’re on ps5 with controllers for shts sakes. Btw if you still like the feel of this arcade, don’t call this game open world when you can’t even look up into the distance. It’s about to be 2025 and you go play video games and you’re still staring at the ground for $90 tell me I’m right without telling me I’m right 😂

The game is just as much about getting loot, talents, crafting, character creation and customization of your character. There are multiple systems to engage with to increase your characters power. The skills, weapons talents etch dictate the play style of your character,so there are different classes each with unique individual talents, gear, perks etc so the game remains the same but the playstyle gives the variety, as well.as updates, seasons etc, its actually a really fun game

I don’t like that in 2024 there are still no RPG games made where the weapon movements are dynamic and different from each other, look at the sword strokes, they are always the same, they are not realistic, they do not change, just create 2 or 3 different random movements, instead they are always the same, how boring. Also it is not realistic that the character can pass through the opponents, there is no realistic sensation, the bodies should be rigid, that is, give the sensation of reality, instead the character almost passes through them, essentially slides. They worked a lot on the graphics, but this sense of realism has not been well studied.

Yep, just like Diablo Immortal, you can see the players during open world even if you don’t have the subscription to play online, which sucks… This is why Diablo IV failed since it’s online game only and you can’t play offline because internet is required and the most annoying thing is you’re forced to play with random players, but if Diablo IV were free to play then it’s another story. I see Activision Blizzard learned very much from NetEase on how to make a game with online multiplayer only… And people say Diablo IV is a great game? I hope they’re just joking or it’s their opinion…

Possibly one of the most overrated and boring games I’ve ever played. So dull and the epitome of a button basher. If the game had a better combat system than just pushing a button it would be better. There is no skill involved in this game at all. I’m churning through enemies and don’t even feel the tension of possibly dying or struggling against an enemy

Dungeon Crawlers can be addictive, I started with Diablo 2, but i do now recognize that Diablo 1 was far greater in what trully nails people: the mystery. Its poor graphics do not match Diablo 4 in nothing, sure, but there’s much hidden, secretive, poorly explained, wich combined with some truly gore and disturbing features, made de name of Diablo. Diablo 2 has much of it, too. Diablo 3 is a improved MU online with far less interactions for all i know, and Diablo 4 follows the same trend.
Diablo will be remembered for decades from now, but its sequencies will not, and i think is beause of this. No nostalgia here ( i hope ).

The cinematics and universe are great, but the gameplay seems to get worse with every part. Plus not class, skill or weapon variety. Think of Wolcen, which had a very rough start, as you like (and Diablo is definitely more polished although the Wolcen developers are still working hard with regular updates), but it offers so much more skills, weapon types and ways of creating your char as you like plus the combat feels as it has much more impact. Watching Diablo 4 gameplay starts to feel like an auto survival battler sometimes.

That combat is so lame… Gotta have more animation than that. It’s 2023, we’ve seen far better combat these days. Left swing, right swing, ballet dancing,….Yawnnn…common Blizzard!
