Is it just me or is it very generic ? In Diablo 2 , the music, the sound design. the monster design, the environments, even the spell icons are all extremely memorable. In Diablo 4 its like i dont even know what area im in , everything just feels the same. It feels like its a Diablo clone made by an indie company instead of the real Diablo 4 i would expect.

The worrisome part is that the act shown here, are the only polished / polishing part of Diablo 4. Do remember, they changed directors and Blizzard dropped the ball with Diablo 3 and Immortal. Pre purchase is always a fool game.

Drinking Lilith blood theory.

After the villagers trick your character to drink Lilith blood at the Abandon house, every monsters you killed were an illusion. When in fact those monsters are regular villagers hiding in monastery.

If you guys pay close attention at beginning, your character was killing wild animals such as pack of wolves, bears etc. After entering into an abandon house, you start seeing ghouls. After you drank Lilith blood, you could see stronger and more terrifying monsters.

I’m guessing all those priests you meets throughout your journey are demons. They lead you on a path of killing by feeding you lies.

Sick strategy if that’s Lilith plan all along because she learned from her brothers where a hero always come to rescue the villagers. Now you’re unknowing doing Lilith dirty work.

It would go well in toe with Imperius and Malthaels view of us/the nephalem. One fearing their power and their ability to kill just about anything in existence while the other hated them for being equivalent to the prime evils due to their bloodline.

There was a theory that we/the nephalem could be the villains for D4 so if its done as the unknowing villains then thatd be a nice twist/change from the norm.

I canceled my preorder after watching this video. This is Diablo Immortal, but for 80$ and they still want extra 10$ for a season pass, or 15$ for a “super duper season pass”. Also cooldowns with cooldowns and more cooldowns upon cooldowns, and there’s no music in the game, either. Fast forward the video and tell me where you hear good music. There is none. This is just horrible. Thank you for uploading this video – you saved me a lot of money, man. Blizzard died with Blizzard North.

And you have to choose side either dark with Lilith or with light with inarus I think this is how this game play will go fight between dark and light and soon we have to choose a side

Diablo 2 is just pure nostalgia for me. I absolutely loved the mods and hack editors that were available. One particular hack editor, nutcracker, granted the ability to alter other players inventory as well as make some utterly amazing charms. My necro and paladin characters were unstoppable. Hopefully Diablo 4 will introduce new classes and maybe bring back the paladin.

This game storyline is as flawed as we feared. Inarius should be rotting, flayed, and imprisoned in some hell hole in the beginning as per storyline from Diablo 2 and 3. Where are the Nephelim from Diablo 3 that took out The Prime Evil and the insane Arch-Angel of Death? These are facts and not knit-picked complaints. We are already taking a leap here and since this Beta version shows no trace of Diablo or the Prime Evil Diablo who was freed at the end of Reaper of Souls.

So I only played the 3rd one and a little bit of the 2nd when the remake released. I thought the games were fine, but combat felt repetitive. So i have a question. I really want to get into these games, but is there something I’m missing? A lot of people I’ve met swear by this series even after games like Witcher 3. Is there a way to play it or is it more a purist thing?

I still think that effect with Lilith in the opening cinematic is insane like you can see her bones through new blood and flesh not being fully developed after rebirth kind of thing it’s a nice detail
