37:14 wooow this game looks like SH_T! Not visually. From design perspective. They could have literally put up signs “boss room here”, “boss drops from above”, it wouldn’t have made the game any worse.

Bosses falling from above is like jumpscares in horror films. Cheap and stupid. Then they’re gonna float in the middle and shoot aoe attacks and have these neat circles telling the player where not to stand. Players, when they get bombarded with stupid elements like these, are soon gonna care only about max level and beating down bosses HP-bar. They’re not gonna get pulled into that world and not have an experience they’re gonna remember. And all that good graphics are gonna be for naught.

Just my opinion. I’m not sure I would buy that game if it were 20$. Disappointing experience with D3, I guess.

It’s fun to watch streamers that don’t have any knowledge about the core mechanics of combat. For example, while fighting the Blood boss..
When the boss “grabs you to heal,” he could have just used his Rallying Cry to instantly break out of it.
That broken chain icon is for CC breakouts. In Asmon’s defense, the game doesn’t really teach you about how the breakout abilities work. Or that it is required that you have at least one breakout ability slotted at all times.

I can’t believe there’s no autosave after character creation to prevent loss in case the game crashes or disconnects.

26 hours of game play and I was able to get all available aspects/quests in fractured peaks. Along with full set of legendary gear with some that had multipliers to whirlwind

The aspect extract feature is a game changer. I found a pair of gloves that had +1 to rend and +1 to whirlwind and took the aspect off my garbage legendary and put it on those gloves. Massive dps boost

what i like about D4 is they bought back the “easy” mechanics and advanced them as you go. not the “take a 10 hour course on how to beat the final boss mechanic.” there is a complete difference between balance and just throwing crap in to make it more difficult. I rather have a boss that has easy mechanics but have to absolutely bludgeon to death than take a 16 step youtube video to beat. Just saying.

As i understand it, Lilith and Inarius (demon and angel) are the creators of sanctuary (“earth”) and the parents of the nephalem and humans. They did this because of resentment towards the angels and demons and being weary of the eternal conflict.

As far as character creation there were a lot more options in alpha from what I heard. Which leads me to believe there are going to be a lot of stuff in the real money shop beyond just gear appearances.

I ended up playing the whole weekend …there is still some work with the bugs, with the bosses not beeing that amazing ( every dungeon boss should be more interesting and have more moveset) the hdr on ps5 is broken and the hus should have much more options ( everything is on screen and takes a lot of the immersion)

The more i think about it… the less i enjoyed it tbh. The skills are so boring, especially for a Storm sorc, it was soooo boring, i just used 2 abilities throughout the whole act, i reset the points to try other stuff, and funny enough those skills did 1/2 of the damage storm did. I was almost 1 shotting everything…. Lvl 20 and im 3 pieces of gear away from full legendary, and the bonuses on the gear actually tied into my storm build by adding extra points to it.

But man it was boring as fuck now i think about it…. literally everything was the same, and the visuals are not what i expected, dont get me wrong some of the skills do look nice, but most are so basic its underwhelming.
The only thing i really enjoyed were the boss fights, they were actually difficult, without being too hard and frustrating, and not too easy. it just took time and focus to dodge abilities, which was fun.

I really hope this is just sour beta times, and everything will fall into place… *copium*

I am very disappointed in Diablo 4. Even considering that this beta is part of the whole game, the open world was very poor. The quests are also very ordinary. It was not suitable for the high selling price of D4. It should be at least the quest level of Ubisoft games. The placement of the merchants was just annoying, and the skills of the classes were not attractive at all, just followed Diablo 3. The skills are generally unattractive and even the skill effects are so pathetic.
(I hate fancy effects and I like simple effects, but D4 is so terrible)

Various events that are often encountered while exploring the map are not fun at all, and the method of rewarding is the same as D3. I don’t understand what confidence Blizzard has put such a high price on the D4. It is understandable because it is the tradition of series games to inherit the good points of the previous works, but the true innovation is not seen in D4. Words cannot describe this disappointment I feel now even though I wasn’t expecting much from D4.

I get it, we are only 25 lvls, act 1. But thinking that dungeons are gonna be the end game with more affixes, are not really convincing because of how repetitive they are. Finding a key, finding 2 cubes to open the door, brutally repetitive layout. Got bored really fast

It’s not that I didn’t find any positive in this beta, but I even felt like I was enjoying the 2.0 version of D3 in this game. I just pray that a lot of feedback will be accepted and that the game will be dramatically changed by the release date.

I never understood why Diablo only gets hard on bosses and and handful of places, 90% of the content is running and spamming, it’s less engaging than eurotruck simulator

Ressource management sucks. Game unplayable. You have to load up your energy by clicking left mouse button like crazy to load up your energy. These loading skills do nearl no damage at all. After clicking your no damage skill for ever you have the energy for you real damage skill, but it deplete so fast, that you are playing to get energy the hole time and do no damage. Rest of the game is fine, but that click 3 times with no damage and then you click one time to do damage is bullshit. I am always out of energy, no matter what you do. Wtf. It’s like reloading your weapon in a shorter after every shot, but sometimes you get lucky and can shoot twice. Sad.

Idk why cirt chance is called lucky strike but in some games lucky strikes contributes to extra effects not cdamage ( like critical) for example ability has 20% to freeze/stun/bleed enemy lucky strike there = the effect occurs, or it means multiple effect occurs all at ones. Thats way cooler i think than boring crits

The true game doesn’t actually start until Max level in Diablo games. Or in D4’s case, probably not until lvl 50, since that’s when you can start using all your skills, get access to paragon, and can start finding Uniques (the most powerful items).

as a PoE player, seeing D4 was all I needed to confirm I will be playing PoE2 and NOT D4.

I been playing this beta and it feels idk game feels good so far but character randomly gets stuck on shit and stops moving or has moving delays when i’m trying to stop moving or go around corners. also clicking on items feels like the mouse isn’t calibarated right i find myself having to click multiple times to try and get the thing to work same for targeting enemies.
Lastly there are WAY too many damn menu screens i had a screen come up where i could claim a reward and for me to find that same menu again i was unable to even find it. there are like 10 different freaking screens you can access its just too much everything is like unorganized and it feels like a mess when trying to find what screen has what on it to be able to view your items, skill points, earned items from the pathway system what ever that’s called. I literally find myself going into controls keybinds to try and find what a menu was called so i can try to find out where to access certain information.

There is no need to evaluate the game by cinematics video. The interface of the skill panel is terrible.

Haha…the game works perfectly on the console, the graphics looks just as crisp as the pc. 60fps and no crash or disconnected whatsoever. Looks that diablo 4 is a port to pc.

D4 is the new game, but PoE still does it better on so many levels lol. More dark and gritty story, better mechanics, better skill tree, faster, more complex, better voice-actors and writing.. Also, they don’t shy away from gore and macabre things. Belly of the beast anyone?

Blizzard should consider taking Diablo the way of Warcraft. Create a unique 2 faction MMORPG and let players be for either Heaven or Hell. Warcraft was a top down RTS and converted into a third person virtual world with lore, crafting, questing, etc…
Diablo should just go the same way and expand in that direction rather than continuing to recreate the same top down game with the same graphics, skills, mechanics etc…

I’d play the hell out of a virtual Diablo where I could be for either Heaven or Hell with PVE & PVP. Almost like a Dark version of WoW but with all new classes, races, map, dungeons, etc etc.. As far as lore, they should really take heavy inspiration from Darksiders 1. The best game of that franchise

This experience is why I never played through Diablo 3… I got my connection intercepted and someone stole everything I had while I was disconnected. I haven’t played again since.

Watching him pick skills was painful, like I get he just wants to get back into the game but dumping every skill point into Frenzy instead of getting his first real skill was frustrating to see. And then commenting how he wished he’d have picked another skill instead and would maybe try it at lvl 25… just respec at any point.

i dont know, this looks so old, i mean like game from 2010, these animations are so simple its pain to look at it, that moment when he attack boss from back just by slashing air, no connection no details nothing, its bad

Hi all! I can’t play on my MacBook Pro, chip M1. I have virtual machine for Windows 11, and I can play DIABLO IMMORTAL from June 2022 but now when downloading BETA wants GPU drivers. Someone with similar experience to share some knowledge how to play Diablo 4 on MacBook Pro? I don’t want to take a new Windows computer that’s why I’m trying to “cheat” the operations systems.😂😂😂

So many bugs and game play glitches. Most of the time I am stuck behind an invisible wall when trying to move or kill a boss. This game still needs a lot of work. Also the lack of way-points in most parts of the map suck. (Also why the fk did they add 4 girls to the character selection screen and only one guy)
