But they did not show the glyphs very well. Where do they drop? DO they drop? And after you get them, what is the actual process and mechanic to upgrade them? Show it!! Are they one and done? Do they stack? Where are they stored? In inventory? Separate tab? I love the streams but their coverage is something for my parents not someone is going to play the game.

I just can’t move past the necessity of starting a new character each Season. Reforge has expressed his concerns which I agree with 100%. You’re going to have a whole bunch of 1/2 completed Toons which you’ll never play again as each Season rolls over. I just don’t see how you’ll be getting to a point of refining a Toon, filling Paragon Boards and crushing World Tier 4 content in just 3 months. What happens when you finally get a God Tier Unique drop only having to wave it goodbye because the Season ends and you’ll never touch that Toon again? Seasons will have to offer something overwhelmingly compelling for me to bother with them and no, story isn’t going to be one of them.

I will read into their reply on the game pass lenght that they have heard the feedback and will address it so that “all types of players” can complete it.

D4 is shaping up as an awesome game!

I didn’t find my barb to be particularly weak in the beta, not even significantly so compared to my other classes.
how can you expect every class to be perfectly balanced with each other during the leveling process? that’s kind of unfair and absurd of a standard to uphold as a developer. heck balancing endgame is enough of a challenge,
obviously if certain builds are significantly more efficient during the leveling process than all others, that’s pretty shitty and should see buffs to bring other builds to parity. But honestly a lot of the changes they recently implemented seem to seek to fix that exact issue, so i have faith in that at least.

all this being said, I TBH am very skeptical of D4 and probably won’t buy it on launch. I just think you’re being a bit unreasonable here

Loving your coverage of Diablo IV. I think your concerns are spot on. Originally I was looking forward to playing druid, but until the feedback becomes more positive, I am going sorcerer. I’m also not looking forward to starting a new character every season.
