I know some people want the overlay map. I don’t want it in the game, it is again the efficient versus fun argument (btw, thank God they modified the Dungeon Reset button). Why create a game with stunning graphics and art, to then splatter a map on top. You know… this was clearly the weakest class in the beta… but I can almost guarantee, given Blizzard’s history; they’ll overcorrect and it’ll be down right broken for at least the first season.

My favourite archetype by a long shot but everything about the class seems to miss the mark so far. Let me play a more lanky druid who looks like he spends his days roaming the wilds while really leaning into the idea of being in a given shapeshift form leading his pack from the front and I’d be all over it.

but this weird abomination that is an obese druid who is constantly shifting in and out of various forms like a spazz while having a small pack of mostly irrelevant summons just isn’t what I expect from a druid…

I love the druid, it just fits perfectly into the Diablo 4 world, but I hope – later there will be some possibility that the beast forms keep the armor on, otherwise the look would be kind of boring and the beautiful armor design would be wasted. It would be even better if you can set the options to show the whole beast or the beast with armor.

Someone at blizz has a fluffy nature man fetish. First Kul Tiran druids and now D4 Druids don’t seem to have a body customization option at all. I guess the Druid from D2 learned cookies and shared them with this people. Now they’re a staple of their diet. It might be why demons keep eating them if they’re not strong enough: they provide lots of extra calories. Slaughtering innocents takes a lot energy. This my friends, is why Scosglen was overrun: the demons who managed to eat members of the Druid order were stronger and better able to hunt than before. I think it should be official lore that after Baal was defeated, he left behind a cookie recipe that was absolutely delicious (with a sample) and a devious trap laid for the ultimate destruction of Scosglen: Turning its inhabitants into the perfect demon food to fuel its invasion.
