I honestly thought you were gonna mention the Scene on the Diablo IV Beta Early Access gameplay Trailer released last March 1st. In the very Beginning we can see Lilith speaking with a individual, telling him: “I Can make you the Hero you were!” it seems he is dressed in Barbarian clothing, so I deduce we will see him in the Dry Steppes region. but if we look at him, is not far away from the Mortal Tyrael Depiction we got in Diablo 3. He’s got Brown skin, is bald but has grown a beard and somehow, he seems to Recognize who he is talking with. For a bit, I felt this might be Tyrael if Tyrael should still be Alive. though I dont really expect him to. I even at one point deduced that it could have been Tyrael himself who went into the hells with a bunch of horadrim and released Inarius from his prison. hopefully we get a few things cleared up soon.

My theory is going to be that Inarius will end up being portrayed the way Imperius was supposed to be during the RoS expansion. He’ll be the one to kill off Tyrael as he tries to defend us.

I’m really excited about the d4 story and I hope they dont disappoint. I want some resolution on Tyrael, I want to learn how Inarius escapes hell, and of course diablo has to come back some how 🙂

My theory, Elias is the Hero from Diablo 3. That would be a call back to D2, where the Hero of D1 is corrupted by the forces of evil. Alternatively, the Hero of D3 is the Bloodied Wolf.

I think tyreal is dead. He was middle age when he came to be human. And lorath was a young man. Now lorath is probably in his 60s which means he would have passed

Im guessing that diablo 4 is at least 200 years pass diablo 3. Thats why tyrael is not present

D4 is so boring, picking a sorc or nec blasting through everything without it being remotely a challenge. Oneshotting bosses like its nothing, no challenge just boring. You dont even need any gear to do it. The only enjoyment i had was playing druid on hc

My question is: “WHERE THE HELL IS THE NEPHELIN?” We killed basically every prime evil in D3 and vanished? The humans should worship US, not the angels, who did close to nothing.

Okay everyone be Honest at first Glance at the Thumbnail. does Tyrael kinda looked like a beardless Kratos.

Maybe we’re reading too much into it. Perhaps Tyrael helped his Lieutenant Inarius in banishing Lilith via that chamber the 1st time, maybe using his blood as a mortal.

If Tyriel died a new angel of justice would be made it may even be a reincarnation of him.

1. I think the person who killed Rathma wasn’t Inarius as bad as he has become I don’t think he would kill his son.
2. Their were other demons and angels who joined them on Sancturary I’d assume some paired off and reproduced I always wanted more exploration of them.
3. I hope Lilith and Inarius realize their mistakes in the end and realize the true enemy is heaven and hell.
4. Give us a cliff hanger and let Lilith not be defeated. (not that you can truly kill a demon or angel)
5. I think it is going to be necessary for continuation of the story in future acts and expansions that a true resolution isn’t at end of first part here.

I wish we had the OG barbarian as a NPC..I mean taht guy has been to heaven and hell and fought beside tyrael several times..defeate diablo..twice, the other prime evils, and even the subprime evils..hell even beat imperious as well. dude would look at inarious and not bat an eye at him.

i also think tyrael is dead. my guess is that , even though tyrael is dead he is still not accepted to comeback to heaven so he fall in hell. In hell he meet inarius and he takeover his power and escape hell. new tyrael want to revenge and destroy heaven thats why he is seeking key to heaven. real Inarius is trapped in hell still.

I have a feeling that Tyrael *is* dead, but I hope he wasn’t murdered. How fitting sould it be for the only Angel who sacrificed *everything* for the innocents of Sanctuary to be the only Angel to know genuine *eternal peace*

Mephisto’s corruption goes a long way and Tyrael was always meant to be the vessel for the Triune. His blood is the key.
