PVP is my worst nightmare however it should be an option for those who like that play style
F hell that swallow at 4.12, his mouth seems always full of spit when he talks.
PvP isn’t a system Diablo developers should be focusing on. It won’t bring anything to the genre. Character power isn’t reflected in any way due to the meta, and the game’s math is in a terrible state… focusing on this aspect of the game doesn’t lead to anything good.
D4 bad
The game should feature white, magic, rare, and unique items, removing legendaries while allowing players to imbue blue and yellow items with legendary powers with the codex of power at the Mystic. Some powers would be given after completing a dungeon, and will drop randomly in the world. These powers would function like Glyphs; once picked up, they disappear and it appear on the left side of the screen, similar to salvaging a legendary item. The first Codex power acquired would have the lowest roll, but each subsequent codex power found would incrementally upgrade the previous one of that type. For instance, if a codex power has six levels, collecting that codex power six times would fully upgrade it. Once maxed out, that codex power would no longer drop. If all codices are maxed, crafting materials would drop instead. Blue items should drop as frequently as legendaries do now, rare items should become less common, and unique items a bit rarer, but bosses should have a significantly higher chance of dropping uniques. Blue items would have fewer affixes, like two, but their stats would roll 25% higher. Rare items would have more affixes, like four, with their stats rolling as they currently do. Unique items would remain unchanged. All items could roll with a Greater Affix except white items. White items could be upgraded at the blacksmith into blue or yellow items using materials. For example, a white Twohanded Axe combined with Veiled crystals and other materials could become a Rare Twohanded Axe with random affixes. Loot should not be overly abundant, with items dropping more sparingly. White items could occasionally be purchased from vendors, along with blue and yellow items. Blue and yellow items could also be tempered and masterworked, retaining the old system that upgrades affixes, but with a checkpoint reset system introduced at each stage.
I almost feel like while Poe adds content when it should not, D4 removes content when it should not.
I hope they won’t use any time / resources for pvp mode, this is not a pvp game

No one is using white or yellow items. Why they need to keep focusing on time on things no one uses doesn’t make sense to me
Uninstall until they add Crusader or Blizzard will never learn. We need to TANK their player counts.
i rather they let us choose which sanctification by consuming some runes rather than just RNG…
About blue items, imo they would make them useful, but not that useful like in D2. Devs definitely hate the D2 way, can be seen by their reactions in these interviews.
Been there for 10 seasons, the thing that must get an update is the open world map. It’s too empty and not utilize much.
Lastly, pit n tower dont feel like endgame…. is it all about these rat runs again like back in D3?
I like the idea of clan boss….n then diablo immortals pvp system (something that u have to pic a side to participate ,angelic or demonic )…..n lastly will be cool to have a ascending system of some sort

Not to yuck anyone’s yum, but I have no interest in any form of video game pvp. So that part at least is just another section of the game I’ll permanently ignore.
My two issues with the game are the same as they’ve been for several seasons:
2-GA and 3-GA items are far too rare. Rarer than mythics, even. I hit the same wall every season.
We need a way to level our glyphs other than the Pit.
I absolutely love your idea for the pvp, And rewards ideas. But unfortunately i dont see that playing out well. Love the concept, but if its the first person there are so many people that wont ever get the chance to win. Casual players would lose out to streamers every time because they dont get to play as much or as often as someone that getting to do that as their job.
I’ve been playing PvP for all 10 seasons. We have a tournament every session, and it’s truly fantastic. Thank goodness they listened to us, and I’m finally going to have a goal and an endgame. PvP is the best thing that could have happened to D4. I prefer competing against another brain; that’s really difficult. Killing AI monsters bores me. Thanks, Blizzard. We always ask for an Occultist, Jewelcrafter, and Armory in PvP arenas, and a group finder. Clan Wars would be awesome too.What keeps Diablo 2 alive today is the PvP community.
Pretty sure he just said the wrong thing in the interview when he said rares. I believe Ancestral Legendary items is what he meant, with Unique and Mythic not having a chance to brick.

With regards to strongholds, i think it should be do it once, and its done for ALL toons that you make, even if just for the season.
Such a pain in the ass to have to do waypoints and strongholds for each toon. Just stupid!
Can’t you put a legendary aspect on yellow items? I was able to do that I’m season 10.
