blizzard loves cannabilizing their own games, look at retail wow, all the content from expansions become meaningless except for the latest one. I gave the game a chance and the story made absolutely no sense whatsoever and it was just cringe.

I hate completely random generators in games. It’s a complete waste of time. Anything is possible, from always to never. It’s just like real life. And that’s no fun. I play games for fun and to forget about the real world. Let me have fun while I play toward a goal.

It’s Blizzard. They obviously have no idea what they’re doing. There was a time when this company was the biggest and most famous game developer ever. The real people from back then are no longer at Blizzard. It no longer makes sense to follow this superficial company.

I cannot fathom how they messed it up so bad. They could made an improved Diablo 2, the story was fine but making it an open world experience was foolish. Diablo is not Lost Ark and should have never tried to be. At least that is what it felt like to me. Grim Dawn, PoE and PoE 2, Last Epoch, Titan Quest 2 are all so much better, not to mention older action rpgs like Torchlight and Torchlight 2.

I’m loving D4. Yes, I’m having fun. Medium difficulty is good to. But it’s still fun to watch you dog Blizzard. Because D4 could of and still can be better. But I’m willing to settle for average. D4 forever! 😁👍

I usually quit when I hit my usual 250 wall. When leveling slows to nothing. I already got 2 GA gear on everything, farming doesnt do much so I just wait for the next season.

D4 is dead because everything is just a reskin of the first 3 seasons like you said. It is a cannibalization with nothing new really being added for the most part. The game is the same broken mess as it was day 1. Pointless endgame boss fights because they die in two to twenty seconds. Constant broken classes and bugs. Gambling that in turns punishes players for existing at times just to create pointless loops of trying to find the same item that isn’t bricked. Boss material farming is a pointless endgame loop. Off-colored helltides. ect…

you know why immortal is “better” than D4 now? because it actually gets stuff to do and stuff you want to have and grind for AND microsoft makes money with it compared to D4 where the playbase is shrinking and microsoft makes less money with the monitization system of D4 so guess what they put all their efforts in the game where they make more money with even tho D4 is a fully prices titles with a DLC, there is less stuff you actually want to do in D4 then in immortal and i know that is crazy to say but its the reality and ppl realize that slowly.

So POE2 Update, new Act, 24 bosses, new monster types, crafting, a boss with crafting system in the league, etc. D4….nothing. Glad I play POE 🙂

I actually had a lot of fun in D4 in the beginning with a few friends maxing out my characters in Nightmare dungeons (I remember my tanky druid friend intentionally picking layouts with charging animals that could 1-shot my rogue and would 1-shot our mage friend for the luls).

Unfortunately, the problem was that the game was made by Blizzard. They were all inexperienced and at the same time too prideful to look at other games like POE and copy the things that worked from there: adding a new layer of endgame each league, always increasing build variety in each class. At the same time, instead of introducing cool MTX with boss fights, that you would EARN by playing the game they instead made everything in-game look generic, stuff on the battlepass sometimes looked decent and all the cool and awesome-looking shit was in the shop probably costing more than the game itself.

i never really cared for diablo 4 made it to max level when the game released and quit playing before season 1 graphically its good but just my opinion diablo 3 is the way better game game-play and endgame loop wise.

torment 1 should drop only 1 GA items. torment 2 should only drop 2 GA items and so on. the current ga drops are all trash! this is why no one plays other than third party website duped material addicts. they are the problem. D4 dev team is the problem for making it that way. completely ruined the game from day 1. the game should have had an ingame auction house on day 1. now POE 2. GGG has surpassed Blizzard on game viability. treat the players like sht with sht loot and you dont get sht for player qty. theres no real gear farming because all the gear sucks. they keep it that way because you have idiots thinking theyll get lucky. which they never will. its like finding an harlequin crest back when it was 1 in a billion odds. completely worthless. autosalvage and loot filters wil make it painfully obvious that players are just trash collectors. i said this would happen when they were making the game in D3. and here we are(you guys are becuase i dont play)

Imagine the peak of the game is to kill an uber boss under 3 seconds to get loot so you can kill it 2.5 seconds. Crazy. Yeah, pit is there but who cares thats the less rewarding thing in the Diablo history. I never understood why they havent built their own Atlas, could be like a decent in the layers of Hell or something like that. I started to think about maybe D4 is developed a bunch of devs from King.

So there’s no reason not to just run a farming bot on your computer, put in a loot filter and let your computer run on its own. Wow this game sucks now. So glad I quit at Season 1.

I’ve tried 3 times to play diablo IV and end up quitting every time in the second or third act. The game is god awful boring and there are so few good game design elements to the class skills I’ve seen better from a moba.

I feel that if your player base is complaining about grinding it’s either because it’s actually tedious or you’re moment to moment gameplay is so boring that the only thing interesting about it is the loot drops.

Think of it this way. A woman’s favorite store is one in which all of the item’s are on sale all the time. You try to explain to her if everything is on sale all the time, then nothing is really on sale. She argues with you and says “yes it is, see it says sale right there. 19.99 regular price 29.99.”

You explain to her that, “But if it’s never 29.99; then its price is really just 19.99.” She looks at you and says “No, it says it’s on sale, $10 of the regular price.”

That is how the D4 player’s mind works. If the only gear that is useful is unique items, then the items aren’t really unique. “nO, iT’s rEd. So ThAt MeAnS iT’s A uNiQuE,” says the D4 player.

Blizzard just made Diablo 4 as a PR move to throw something to “old fans” so they stop complaining. Mobile Immortal prints money and that’s were investment goes. Meanwhile D4 made most of the profits already on release and now it just exists, while company waits for some excuse to shut it down or they just leave it in “maintenance mode” like D2 Resurrected.
