Season start time friday around 17 pm (epic start every season) have been looking forward to that weekend starte in years and now its meh, it strated tuesday and we all work. Ladder so there are some intense weekend start hunt. I might not catch all the uber blasters but could make top 20 in hardcore for atleast a couple of hours between saturday and sunday. Really miss the simple gaming fun and competition.

QoL request: Realmbound glyphs. As a casual hc player, it would be realy nice, if glyph progress will carry over to other characters, especially in HC. Same for eternal realm. Leveling glyphs is imho the most boring thing to do in this game.

But when you try to raise more because the game is basically saying your missing some it acts as if you have all of them

I’m a huge Diablo fan. They had me until the vessel of haterid expansion, it was such a disappointment. They would need to give the next one away for free for me to be excited for this. All they care about is money, they could fix most of the issues, but why not drag it out a few more years.
Unfortunately, the Diablo experience we hoped for is going to be in D5.

two questions:
1) will there be extra mobility skills for classes that don’t have any? (i.e. Necro and Druid. i know necro has blood mist, but that is not really a moblility skill. Something like a teleport or dash skill)
2) can builds they nerfed into obvilion from the beta-season 2 be brought back? i.e. chain lightning, ball lightning, whirlwind, etc. they did add some stuff but it is nowhere near where they used to be.

I’d like to know why it’s okay for games to take concepts from Diablo but Diablo won’t take concepts from other games that aren’t Diablo. For me still the most disappointing thing with the way the game is being run is that any meaningful change will come from a paid expansion while the seasons in between are just the same thing recycled and minor tweaks to the game. I don’t want everything for free but fixes to issues caused by the devs shouldn’t be remedied by waiting a year and paying more money.

I just had another Masterworking session that ended with 1) No progress 2) Several hundred million gold less than I started. Until they fix this garbage, my hype meter for everything is going to remain at 0.

The game has no “people’s champion.” Sorry Wudi but you are NOT it. And you will never be the people’s champion until you start playing the game from the majority of the player bases’ perspective, casuals. I challenge you, Wudi. 2 characters per season’s start. 1 hardcore and 1 softcore. No more than 50 to 75 hours each on these 2 characters. At the end, ANALYZE THE GAME BASED ON YOUR ACCOMPLISHMENTS WITHIN THAT TIMEFRAME. Solo self found, absolutely NO TRADING and NO GROUP PLAY. The game has enough blasters (partners) filling the ears of the devs and execs with what they want in and from the game. Blizz needs info about the wants and needs of the majority of the player base. After you’ve put yourself into the majority’s shoes (your limited gameplay) maybe then you can provide the necessary feedback from the casual’s perspective. After those first 2 (1 soft, 1 hard) characters and the feedback to Blizz, THEN you can continue blasting. Reason being is any character created after the first in the season, has access to the materials and currencies earned from the first character. Most casuals only have time for 1 character and 1 build per season, within that 50 to 75 hour timeframe. It’s real easy math 8 hours per week (maximum) x 12 weeks in a season = 96 hours played in a season (maximum). Which is probably too many hours for a casual. Blizzard needs to figure out who they are making the game for and design the game around that demographic, PERIOD. I’m sorry but, you can’t design the game to accommodate both casuals and blasters. Casuals feel left out because they can’t accomplish what blasters can in a season (generally), and blasters get too bored with the season because there’s not enough content to keep their attention. Better yet, get the concrete numbers from Blizz, start testing the game based around the majority, provide feedback based on that testing to Blizz, THEN you can put out content that appeals more to the masses for this game.

Please ask about having at least 1 character slot per permutation (i.e. 1 eternal SC sorc, 1 season SC sorc, 1 eternal HC sorc and 1 season HC sorc etc..).
Also, having one tab in the inventory tied to that character slot so we can keep the armory items somewhere where it doesn’t compete for space with other characters gear.

Someone is desperate for d4 ad revenue clicks

#1- Monetization strategy needs to change. Paid for the game, paid for the expansion, pay for battle passes (overpriced), pay for the premium cosmetics (overpriced), using fomo strategy by putting matching battle pass cosmetic set WINGS behind a higher tier battle pass paywall. Cosmetics sales are not frequent enough, still too expensive even at 50% off considering we’re paying for everything else and are usually on the lesser attractive cosmetic sets. #2 – After 100 hours of Season 9 gameplay (it’s my belief that casuals have LESS than 100 hours of gameplay: 8 hours a week x 12 week season = 96 hours), playing Pen-shot rogue (have no other characters) I have ONE, 2 GA piece of gear on that had the stats recommended by Maxroll for the build (a dagger). Am barely able to play on T4. Where’s the increase in multi-GA drop rate Blizz?? My opinion, Season 7 had best drop rates (FOR CASUALS) for everything, and was ONLY a LITTLE excessive, Just got my 1st 1 – GA Azurewrath drop yesterday (8-10-25). Approximately 75 of my 100 hours has been played in a 3 man party, and I do NOT participate in any outside of game trading (Crimson market, pricing is outrageous because of blasters having the gold to take advantage) and barely have anything to trade with my 2 consistent party members (wife & friend). #3 – Which leads to, why would I want to waste my time using the masterworking system when I don’t have any of the multi-GA’s the build requires that are worthy of me spending the resources on?? Especially when masterworking is a system that cannot be reversed IN STAGES. It’s too expensive (materials & cost) to reverse per stage of advancement if you don’t get what you need from the first 2 stages. I have 102 hrs, wife has 85-ish, friend has 55 – 60-ish……#4 – and none of us have enough legendary runes to use the 2 or 3 resplendent sparks, we each have, to create the mythics for our builds. And only my friend (least hours played) has gotten a mythic to drop, yesterday (8-10-25) and it was a Tyreals might, not even a mythic needed for their build (Razor Spiritborn). AGAIN, season 7 had the best drop rates for runes (FOR CASUALS) maybe was just a little excessive. And why does my build (pen-shot rogue) require 3 mythics!?!? That’s a bit excessive, don’t ya think Blizz?? #5 – All 3 of us collectively agree that the drop rates & RNG need to be more fairly adjusted. From the RNG of re-rolling a stat on a piece of gear, the possibility of bricking an item with tempering (since NOW you don’t have a WORTHY backup), to the lack of multi-GA drops that are worthy of spending materials & gold on masterworking. #6 – The pit is NOT an endgame strategy. You copied rifts and greater rifts from D3. Between my friend and I, we collectively have 6,000 hours on D3. WE ARE DONE RUNNING RIFTS (pit)!! Give us a NEW endgame. Decide who your primary audience is for this game (casuals or blasters) and cater to that audience SPECIFICALLY (if casuals), and figure out a different way to keep the blasters blasting. OR, cater to the blasters (minority, I’m sure) and I’ll go find a different game to play that respects my time more and better. With the lack of EQUALIZED build diversity (thanks for nerfing my favorite build, dance of knives has gotten worse and worse for 2 seasons now) and the lack of maintaining existing builds, the game is turning more and more into D3. “What’s the new pieces of gear (or changes to existing) getting introduced this season that only effect certain builds to create the new seasonal meta’s?” BORING. Figure out a way to elevate ALL builds, EVERY season, as well as introducing new builds EVERY season for ALL classes. #7 – RECOMMENDATION: Blizz, if you want people to NOT stop playing your game indefinitely, and want to keep your horse-shit monetization strategy, than give us the means to CONSTANTLY and CONSISTENTLY earn platinum. 3 to 5 platinum earned for EVERY activity. Every chest opened in helltide, every whisper cache turn-in, every NMD run, every pit run, every legion event, world boss, undercity, infernal horde, bosses, escalated.NMD’s, and seasonal content. Why, do you ask?? Because in the majority of games FASHION IS ENDGAME. #8 – FIX ALL THE BUGS AND BROKEN INTERACTIONS CURRENTLY IN THE GAME AND STOP INTRODUCING MORE EVERY SEASON. #9 – More interesting seasonal themes. #10 – WAY MORE CONTENT THAT STAYS IN THE GAME.

It’s obvious that’s just a marketing maneuver, they want to stir some hype, but they know they can’t promiss anything because they are uncapable of comiting to any sort of deliverables. They just don’t have the capability, and also they don’t have the capability to face community feedback. Just deleted Diablo 4 after grinding to paragon 264. Why you ask.
My build needs a legendary AMULET with Intelligence, Permafrost, and Glass Cannon.
I’ve been looking and target farming for one since the beginning of the season. During the goblin event I saved up 400+ bags of obles. I just got through them the other day.
I had so many it took me several play sessions just to go through and gamble them all.

In the end I got NOTHING.

Not one single drop that would allow me to have those three stats on .
That’s not just bad luck, that’s the developers at Blizzard rigging the game to prevent people from finishing builds they want to create, and I’ve had enough.
The amount of time I put in farming goblins was insane, but I thought it would ultimately be worth it. I was wrong. I spent literal hours at the gambler pulling page after page after page of amulets.
I was thinking the other day if I had actually got one to drop then bricked it at the blacksmith, what would I have done.
I honestly thought I’d sue. Not that I’d win or that any lawyer would even take it. But I’d sue just on principle.
Anyways I have vowed I will not re-download and play Diablo 4 until the developers make it so any piece of gear is attainable in a reasonable amount of time.
If they don’t, no big deal. Plenty of great games are coming out very soon and Ill invest my time and money there.
Doing the bare minimum and expecting people to stick around is laughable at best and Blizzard has been doing the absolute bare minimum since the game launched.

Diablo was one of my favorite franchises, and now I’m so exhausted from it. I barely wanted to leave this comment, but Im going to on the hopes that maybe something can change.

What I want – a solo self found mode that doesnt make me feel like Im at a disadvantage because I’m not playing/trading with other people.

Why I want it – I want my own sense of accomplishment. I get absolutely no joy trading runes with other people. My biggest decline in enjoyment from d4 was the release of the expansion and forcing me to play with other people in Kurast. I like slow builds, I was playing overpower druid. Every time i played i got matched up with spiritborns on cociane. Each map I got to kill maybe 5% of enemies. It wasn’t fun. The speed other people play at is not the speed I want to play.

I’m so tired of “blasters” making the game revolve around them. Give me a self found mode that doesnt have my remaining 3 brain cells exploding from the animations going on the screen. Let me slowly kill a boss once in SSF mode and get 5x the amount you blasters get with your sweaty ass groups. Let me trade runes with an NPC so I dont have to go to some shady website. So that I can have a more consistent path to the power I want and the way I want to play.

I’m sorry but I don’t want to play with other people. I play this game to disconnect from reality and go into my own world of fantasy, and I’m tired of lighting deities flying through my screen, killing all my enemies.

Why would i spend more money on another expansion when the game has not gotten any better since the last one, they’re selling power and solutions in the expansions for problems they made, instead of decent content

1. Please remind them to use the over world, and make it relevant regardless of seasonal updates

2. Slow the game down ( like POE2) we don’t need to zip around and not be able to see anything happening on screen with zillions of dmg and call that fun. It’s not.

3. Reduce dmg to around 1-3mil max, completely rework stats to make this happen. No longer do we need to find bugs because they can’t balance dmg each and every season it’s sad and pathetic that other arpgs don’t have this issue

We need some HUGE changes. Everyone I have played with has left. So that leaves me playing solo.

My biggest thing is the expansion of the endgame and making the replay ability valid because I am getting burned out on this. Played since the beta.

Ask Devs if they have a plan to make bosses more impressive and fights more interesting to do. Because right now, its either just hard or tedious and boring punching bags in an infinite farming for specific item. I cant stop comparing it to poe bosses. Every single boss in poe is better designed than best boss in D4 and i cant even tell who it will be.

Hi. I don’t know how valid my opinion will be – Diablo 4 was my first experience with this type of game. I played one Season and then dropped it. What I would like to see in order to return to the game:

1) Greater class individuality. Right now, no matter which class you play, you have to follow the same template – you can and must be a jack-of-all-trades: you need to maximize Critical Strike Damage, Damage to Crowd Controlled enemies, Damage to Bosses, etc. You have to stack maximum Armor, Resistances, Life and Fortify. In essence, this turns each class into nothing more than a different “candy wrapper”, where the only thing that changes is the way you achieve the goal and the way abilities flash on the screen – that’s it.

I would like to see more uniqueness where, for example, when playing a Rogue, you have low Life and Armor, but high Dodge and Resistances you rely on to survive, while your main damage comes from Critical Strikes. A Barbarian, on the other hand, would have a large health pool, and his damage would come from Overpower attacks. In short – more individuality.

2) The fact that you can and must develop everything. As I described, you must be a universal build. You must level up everything across the board. I would like to see character progression not in the format of “bingo,” where you just need to fill in all the gaps, but in the format of a gradient – where you have a choice: either boost survivability or further increase damage.

This would add not only more variety to build-crafting, but also at least some effect from your personal skill. Are you good at avoiding damage and moving around? Increase your damage to kill faster. Not so good? Then stack more Life instead.

3) Add other sources of increased Maximum Resistance. Right now, the only such source is the Mythic Tyrael’s Might, which indeed serves its purpose, but is static for Tempering and takes up an entire slot. I would like to have other options – for example, Tempering or Masterworking.

Personal experience: My view is based entirely on my experience playing as a Rogue, when I entered the game wanting to bring to life my vision of the class: low Life and Armor, high mobility, Dodge, elemental Resistances, high attack speed, and maximizing CSC and CSD.

I was deeply disappointed when I realized that:
– my plan to increase CSD wasn’t my own vision, but the exact same template for all classes;
– the only way to maximize Rogue’s damage is to turn them into a meat-tank;
– fast attacks aren’t needed at all – just spam your Death Trap;
– dodge is completely useless and doesn’t work – every class has to be a tank that soaks damage face-first. I pushed Dodge to 97% with 0 Armor, but Aspect of the Prudent Heart only triggers after taking damage, which meant I was always one-shot by certain abilities, and with the remaining 3% chance, every random enemy could also kill me instantly.

So: you either play the way the game wants you to, or nothing works at all. Whatever party I joined with my build, I was completely outperformed by any meta-template user, and in solo I couldn’t even defeat some bosses.

I didn’t want my build to be the absolute best – I just wanted it to be mine and at least functional.

If Blizzard really wanted to “make up for what we’ve received so far”, they’d be beefing up their FREE seasons, not packing all of this into yet another $60+ expansion.

The most crucial thing for me is surprises. Not enough in D4. On the way to endgame gear, I want BIS to give me whole new play styles. 9 sets per slot, and 4 slots, that’s 9999 different builds. But they have to be build-defining options. Then I transition into a meta build. Same for pylons. 3 parts, 9 options, 999 pylons. Quests, same. Super Elites, same. Decades of surprises.

We’ve heard it all before. Blizzard promise blah blah isn’t news.

Hey Wudi, I know you’ve mentioned this as well as Rhykker we need more events similar to and rewarding as march of the goblins. I know Johnathan Rogers doesn’t like them but I do and the majority of the player base does as well.

The division 2 has these sort of events all the time throughout the season with different mechanics involved. It could be way to add the senechal tides or malphas for a week or two and maybe he drops unique runes it would also be an ez way for casuals to get more sparks through a rep board. Etc

Know way I’m giving more money to blizz for another xpac until they add proper value to the current xpac. Still no auction house. Still no reworks to tempering and masterworking. Still no increased storage space. Still limited to the pit for glyph xp. It all needs to change sooner rather than later.

If the blizzard developers make the backspace five times bigger then the expansion is a success in my eye 🎉

All this “D4 hype trust me bro!” isn’t working. And it won’t work. They either show the content to everyone, AND have it be good content, or the game continues to die a slow death. I would say it, was good while it lasted, but it was never good so, whatever, i guess.
Lost hope after the Item-Rework, if you leave all the broken stuff out, like duping and so on, the Game is not good. Itemization/Character Customization is one of the worst i have ever encountered. No Stash-Space, since Games Alpha till 9 Seasons deep, you can literally dupe Items & sell them for real Money and destroy the Economy. Like i couldn’t care less that he’s leaving, i would have left at the very latest after season 4!
Just as a Sidenote, why do you think all the OG’s left Blizzard North, like David Brevik as the biggest example? Just asking questions here.

Downloaded and played poe2 for the first time yesterday as the endgame in D4 is just non existent. Hit para 300, max ga and tempered Sorc gear with pretty insane Druid and barb gear also. 1000’s of pits/belial runs with nothing else to do in the game other than belial runs now. Crafting sucks, no real challenge after the first maybe week of the season. D4 lacks a reason to continue to play and grind the game. I love the Diablo series but it’s in a pretty bad spot right now and I have no hope they will make any significant changes to improve considering how vessel of hatred was done. Poe2 seems great so far tho 🙂

A small part of the NDA lifted? I knew “something” D4 related was happening but everyone was hush-hush the last week or two. I’m Hyped! S6 7 8 and now 9 have all been my favorite seasons compared to previous ones. S9 has been my most active one yet with the overpower rebalancing there’s been more viable “top” builds then I ever remember. over a month into the season and I’m still playing, now on my 4th alt. D4’s better than ever before and I can’t wait to see what improvements are coming in the future.

I am willing to come back if they rework the skill tree and add an endgame system.

Now that the casuals are out, can we get some actually challenging end game that’s not spam this boss/pit 1000 times and a proper leaderboard?

What I want is free difficulty scaling for the whole game. Difficulty in D4 is already based on Pit tiers. So instead of giving us 4 predetermined torment levels, I want the ability to set the whole games difficulty to a freely chosen pit tier. So including open world, nmds, … So instead of only having pit as challanging content, I could make the whole game be like pit100 or whatever I choose. That would open up possible things to enjoy in the endgame a lot without having to code a single new event or whatever.

One small QoL thing I’d like added to the game is a way to see events better from things like the seasonal theme. Sometimes I find it hard to figure out where and when the seasonal zone or event is taking place. Could use the quest log to have timers and show the location of that event with a button press or something like that.

I’m still waiting for them to make the game worth the original price let alone multiple expansions. This game is a disgusting money-grab that I can’t ever justify playing again.

Hi Wudi! Have fun!!! We all want to know details, but I feel good about the future just hearing you and others speaking so optimistically. Even though it’s vague.

Can you please ask about performance improvements? Specifically, VRAM issues on PC. D4 uses way too much in the first place and it goes up over time. I have 16 GB VRAM. I find D4 using 13+ GB within an hour and have to restart due to extreme stuttering when teleporting or going into new zones. This is a very widespread problem that doesn’t get any attention.
