More god-like and demonic powers are needed! Blizzard, hire a true ARPG visionary to save the game. We need better itemization to make hunting gear exciting again. The current system is just endless salvaging. Uniques aren’t even fun to identify anymore. There’s no real diversity between classes or builds, and the skill tree feels too restrictive. The game is just a reskinned Diablo 3 with better graphics

The problem here is that Astaroth wasn’t all that interesting even in the base game, let alone worth bringing back again now. Guys, I get that quality is the top priority and that new content can’t be rushed but do we really have to wait until 2026 just to finally fight one of the Prime Evils? The character the game is actually named after, when will he really show up, in 2028 perhaps? This whole thing has been dragged out way too long, and honestly, I’m not touching the game again until they release some real, meaningful new content. The trailers are well made though.

It’s a boring garbage. I’m still sad I bought this trash and still happy I didn’t buy the ‘expansion’.

I won’t be be equipping any borrowed powers on my character this season. You really played that out . I’m sick of it and I’d like to know how much damage my character can do on his own. The one armor set you showed me looks decent. About over the excessive pet promoting too. Also we got very little platinum last season. Really hope that changes this new season. You might want to think about making a battle pass worth buying if you want my money. Wings or a new pets do not impress me much. Weapon cosmetics and the starcrossed armor really were poorly done this season. Hope that improves. Miss the cosplay armor cosmetics you used to every season, those were fun. Also I’m curious why you felt you needed to rework the rewards system. I liked the linear progression you were using before might want to think about going back to that. The only thing I do like is that I can earn rewards using my eternal characters. Not overly excited about this new season I did enjoy that little mechanical/magic spider that I got during the season of the construct. Maybe bring something like that back. But backto this season 9 I like the look of the armor you had in the preview but that is all that has impressed me so far. Remember more platinum would be great. Make it worth it.

Game was always just ok. Loot reborn was just an illusion of changes, it was just a mild re-shuffle. Core gameplay and loot needs to be remade but i don’t think the current developers have the courage to touch it not to break something even more. I never needed some stupid masterworking i just needed something good to drop to keep me going. hundreds of trash loot drops make me wanna puke. Game just needs to slow down and get back to it’s roots a bit. It still has a chance i think.

Give a bonus to the artists because they are doing a great job. Send all the game directors on a company trip off-site to play path of exile 1 for a minimum of two weeks. Make sure they try all the different league mechanics that accumulated over the years. grow some balls and stop making color-themed reskin of the same league over and over. If a season is only a few months, be bold, try all the crazy ideas.

Here is an idea Blizzard…. Because apparently you suck at ideas… A season where you can steal skills from other classes. Even 5-6 skills would do. Rather than going thru the mundane stuff again, these could be earned by slaying Hellborne-ish versions of these classes. Better still, you earn them by slaying other players n choose skills from their skill-tree.
This will break this mundane n sucky cycle of seasonal content you are peddling to your userbase.

Played all seasons and all previous editions of Diablo. Since “Loot Reborn” and “Vessel of Hatred” nothing exciting was released. And the sad thing is by end of this year nothing interesting appears on a roadmap. Fingers crossed for the expansion coming next year. Hopefully it will revive this game.

Diablo 2 had 1 expansion and 2 new characters.
And we played that game for years on end. Even till this day, many of us still play Diablo 2.
But diablo 4? It is such a waste of a game and resources. Might as well cut the plug and go back to the drawing board.

I dont understand why you didn’t do what POE 2 did. Keep your old characters and just add more to your roster… instead you get rid of your whole roster each game or keep a handful leaving the game bare bones. Who wants to play each season with the same characters, builds, skill trees, over and over again? It makes no sense for long term growth.

Same stuff… your whole end game build will depend on those one or two mythic drops.

Asteroth was not even an interesting villain. And OF COURSE we know he can return. All Demons and Angels are immortal, they are reborn after being killed, that’s why the soulstones were made.

And yet another stupid event that gives you new temporary powers. Like why would I want to even invest in these powers and gear a character around it when I know it will go away in a few months, never to be used again??? Grind for nothing? No thanks.

I could care if this was Deckard Cain, but this dude, I barely even remember him.

Just the witch powers, where are the new classes, new something I dunno, who is doing the update for this game thinking anyone wants any of this these are just all reskins of other events

I wanted to, I tried to… love this game. But this game reminds me of a fish out of water. Just flopping about in vain. I can’t level another character doing the same things over and over. There was so much potential and there is still that potential, but the devs seem to be stuck in a loop. Their circling seasons are designed for us to be stuck in a loop the way an old person gets stuck driving in a roundabout. I turned right and left this game behind. I’m less miserable that way.

Wondering what class is not working as intended this time? Probably the most fun to play one !!!

Its sad that you officially promote the community guides. IMO the community guides ruin the game. No one has any idea about the systems and don’t care. They just use a guide and make some swaps along the way. The only ones who get to play the game like we did back in d2 d3 etc are the guide creators. Everyone else seems to just copy and paste.

Bring us some more combinations, allow us to spec into past seasonal powers, and give us more relatable statistics to learn how the systems work as we play more.

After season 2 i already gave up doing the same thing with just different powers to farm/craft.. bring some new side missions, new open world events, add 2 new world bosses in the loop, add roaming bosses in the open world etc

They put all their effort into a trailer and give nothing to the actual endgame

As long as one-shot builds exist, you don’t have to introduce bosses at all. There’s no interest in fighting them. I want a real challenge with bosses.

Its the first time I say this : Can’t wait for the new season after playing last PoE League. I always liked PoE but man, its..enough. You one shot everything and everyone. Complex “features” which mostly are useless this days and lastly, the builds this season are..pretty bad. So yea. Bring S9.

Dear Blizzard, I just want to use core skills and get better gear as I play naturally, I want to feel the “oomph” of an attack with an axe or something, I don’t want to proc season powers or other special powers from the gear.

I’d be more than happy to come back if there was a proper end game. OR, you know, since you brought Belial back, bring back Azmodan and the Big 3 too. Being able to take on the 7 evils in one game would make it worthwhile to come back and play every season.

good god put just a tiny bit of variety in the seasons. look at the other games in the genre. if any of them did the same thing season after season…i can assure you they would get an earful.

Now can we make shapeshifting druids viable for once in the history of this game? Shred? Pulverize? Rabies? Lacerate? They have never gotten your attention and Druid is suffering right now. Justice for the Druid! Class and build balance in this game is terrible right now, and this is coming from someone who wants D4 to be something I want to play all the time.

D4 team, you guys are killing it! Trailer was phenomenally done! Most of the guys are unaware of the talent, complexities, hard work, and dedication it takes to make a game and create trailers like this. It makes me look even more forward to s9! I can’t go back to poe 1-2, or Last Epoch. But I always could return to D4. Keep up the good work! ❤

Hope I will not have to skip the season pass yet again. Just bring back the decent Platinum rewards from before Reliquaries and the system will be already so much better.

the extra $ just for wings and a pet is crazy. I liked the old system better when it was an emote and i could ignore it. Even the base battle price increase of the past is too high. especially when a season is a weekend of content.

These seasons are starting to mess with things that happened in the main story and then disappear so that other’s can never see it. You should stop doing that.
